You must be knowing that I posted an article when I bought my Sony Vaio laptop before 2 months. But these days I am consistently having battery performance problem. Even with a fully charged battery, I cannot keep my laptop running for even 2 hours when I am out. I do keep my laptop in power saver options and with minimal brightness display.

I also followed following tips to save battery life :
- Charing fully and discharging fully for max performance
- Decrease display brightness
- Detach Externally attached devices like USB harddrive
- Run minimal programs

Even though my batter is not running adequately to give me a runtime for at least 4 hours as indicated in various sites. I am thinking of buying a new sony laptop battery but I am afraid if it will also have such problem. I hope this is not a common problem with all sony batteries.
